  • You are a strong systems thinker who can reason across mobile apps, backend services, BLE/device-control flows, and operational workflows, making clear time-versus-cost tradeoffs for stakeholders.
  • You are a builder of teams: you hire, coach, and develop engineers and emerging leaders, and you create a culture of ownership, psychological safety, and high standards for quality and compliance.
  • You are a trusted cross-functional partner who collaborates deeply with Product, Clinical, Regulatory, Hardware, Data, and Operations to deliver outcomes, not just ship features.
  • You are comfortable owning production health and operational excellence in an on-call, continuous delivery environment, and you use data, telemetry, and support signals to continuously improve the system.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, including managing 5+ direct reports through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Experience delivering production software for connected devices, BLE-enabled systems, device-control flows, or in close partnership with firmware and hardware teams.
