Requirements
- 4–7 years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience with a focus on technology and software categories
- Track record of negotiating enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or security tooling agreements with vendors such as AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Datadog, GitHub, Okta, or comparable
- Understanding of software commercial models: per-seat and usage-based pricing, committed spend, tiers, discounts, and true-ups
- Strong analytical skills: unit-cost analysis, TCO modeling, and benchmarking; able to find the real economics underneath a vendor proposal
- Working knowledge of commercial and legal contract terms (MSAs, order forms, SOWs, DPAs); comfortable driving redlines in partnership with Legal
- Clear, direct communicator with executives and across the negotiating table
- Hands-on experience running sourcing in a procure-to-pay platform (Zip preferred)
- AI fluency: you actively use AI tools for redlining, negotiation prep, benchmarking, and vendor analysis
