Requirements
- Deep knowledge of CrossFit, functional fitness competition, athletes, events and the broader community
- Strong understanding of what CrossFit fans care about and which athletes, rivalries and storylines can drive interest
- Experience creating social-first sports content, particularly short-form video and real-time event coverage
- Ability to identify compelling moments from live competitions and quickly turn them into engaging social content
- Strong instincts for building anticipation and narratives around live events
- Experience independently managing social content from idea through publication
- Strong video instincts and an understanding of what makes a clip, highlight or social moment perform
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a vertical’s social presence without a large supporting content team
