Requirements
- You're an experienced engineer who still wants to write a lot of code and build things yourself, rather than moving into a purely managerial role.
- Strong experience building and shipping production software, with particular depth in a range of languages eg. TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, Go, Rust.
- Strong backend and distributed systems experience, with an understanding of how to build systems that are reliable and can scale.
- Good product instincts. You can take an ambiguous problem, work out what matters, and turn it into something useful.
- Comfortable making technical decisions independently and working without a lot of process or direction.
- Experience with modern infrastructure such as AWS, Terraform, Docker, and ECS/Kubernetes.
- Experience building and putting AI systems into production, including LLMs, coding agents, reasoning models, prompting, fine-tuning, or evaluation.
- Interested in the intersection of AI, developer tooling, and security.
