Requirements

  • Significant experience as a software engineer building distributed systems, platform services, or internal developer tools
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs or ML services and shipping production-quality features on top of them
  • Strong coding skills in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript, with comfort working across services, CLIs, and internal tooling
  • A platform mindset: you think in reusable primitives, contracts, and paved roads rather than one-off solutions
  • Familiarity with AI-specific engineering concerns such as evaluation, prompt and version management, observability, cost control, safety, and data privacy
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders such as Security, Risk, Product, and Operations, and influencing direction through strong technical judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Engineers are required to participate in on-call rotation. Being on call may include responding to incidents outside of regular working hours when necessary.
