Requirements
- Setting the technical direction and multi-year engineering roadmap for a network observability, network performance monitoring (NPM), or infrastructure monitoring product line
- Leading engineering teams that have delivered successful enterprise infrastructure products and services, both SaaS and on-prem
- Architecting and scaling data-intensive platforms that ingest, process, and analyze network telemetry — flow data (NetFlow/IPFIX/sFlow), SNMP, packet capture, synthetic testing, and streaming telemetry
- Delivering AI (ML, Generative, Agentic) capabilities for anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and predictive insights that reduce mean-time-to-resolution
- Evolving long-lived code bases and developing a pragmatic go-forward plan to retire tech debt
- Building high-performing, geographically distributed engineering teams, including managing work transitions to offshore teams and multiple sites
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing top talent, including managers and senior technical leaders
- Establishing software development standards, processes, and best practices for the entire organization
