Requirements
- Prior experience in water or wastewater treatment plant operations, system maintenance, or related environmental services preferred
- Pennsylvania Water/Wastewater Operator License (or ability to obtain within one year)
- Working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including chemical feed systems, sampling, and process control
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and control systems
- Strong understanding of plant operations, distribution systems, and lift stations
- Ability to monitor system performance, interpret data, and identify operational issues in real time
- Proficiency in collecting and analyzing water and wastewater samples and maintaining accurate records and reports
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, including EPA, OSHA, and state environmental standards
