Requirements

  • A clinical background: RN, PT, NP, PA, MD, or DO. You need credibility with clinicians and hospital clinical leadership.
  • 3–5 years owning complex, ambiguous projects with many stakeholders and no playbook. You can explain the key decisions you made and why they mattered.
  • Analytical rigor. You can use SQL, Excel, or AI tools like Claude Code to build a business case, set a baseline, and defend a number to a partner who wants to argue with it. This is not optional.
  • Clear communication. You can turn a complex clinical and financial picture into a deck a founder would put in front of a health system executive.
  • A track record of owning outcomes: work that measurably moved patient outcomes, volume, cost, or revenue.
