Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- 5+ years as the people manager of an engineering team
- Proven success owning production data pipelines or an ingestion platform where correctness is the product, such as revenue, billing, or payments, ideally in FinTech or another regulated industry
- Experience leading a migration from a legacy system to a new platform while both are still in production
- Strong SQL and Python, and working knowledge of Snowflake and AWS
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration (Airflow, Step Functions, or similar), a relational database such as Postgres, and pipelines that are idempotent, observable, and safe to rerun
- Working knowledge of data-quality practice: reconciliation, anomaly review, and how to investigate a number that does not match its source
- Experience partnering with finance, business development, or other non-engineering stakeholders on data they use to make money decisions
