Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting, with statutory reporting at the core of that experience. GAAP experience is a plus.
  • Ownership of quarterly and annual statutory statement filings, with hands-on experience across every part of the annual statement.
  • The ability to read Schedule P across years of development and explain what it shows.
  • Experience leading or coordinating a statutory audit, including the PBC process.
  • Strong working knowledge of statutory financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting.
  • Proficiency in interpreting financial outcomes and turning data into actionable reporting.
  • Experience with a holding company structure and consolidation up to a parent is a plus.
