Requirements

  • 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years owning the close at a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
  • Active license CPA and Big 4 experience.
  • You have the "Builder" DNA with a genuine appetite for hands-on work. This is not a role for someone who wants to delegate the close; it’s for someone who wants to do it, automate it, and then teach the next person how…
  • Collaborative mindset to partner with other functions and deliver on joint deliverables.
  • Inquisitive pursuit that keeps you digging until the numbers make sense. You ensure tight and compliance operations while not losing sight of the "so what" behind the data.
  • Demonstrable experience in hiring, mentoring and growing staff.
  • Experience and comfort with AI tools and native systems. Implementation of an AI-native ERP is a big plus.
  • Experience owning a well run annual audit process.
