Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including public company SEC reporting experience.
  • Direct, hands-on experience preparing or reviewing Forms 10-Q and 10-K, earnings releases, and related SEC disclosures.
  • Strong working knowledge of stock-based compensation accounting (ASC 718), cash flow statement preparation (ASC 230), and earnings per share calculations (ASC 260).
  • Proven ability to research technical accounting matters, write clear position papers, and communicate appropriate accounting treatment to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Public accounting experience, ideally including a "Big 4" or national firm, with technology, FinTech, or SaaS-based revenue clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of SEC reporting requirements for U.S. publicly traded companies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadline-driven filings simultaneously.
